Re: api library revision mismatch
Stanley, it looks like you have everything correct there.
One question - do you have any FLL files in your regular app folder?
That is, when you run the test, do you simply start VFP, CD \xxxx\FFIRE and then run DO FOXFIRE WITH xxxx.
Or is there anything other step missing?
I will contact you offline to set up a meeting so we can see this in action.

Re: api library revision mismatch
Andrew:
OK, I did the followingf:
uninstalled ff80
downloaded the latest ff80setup.exe.
installed ff80
noted that the fll's with the appropriate tiemstamps were present in \6XLIBS
However, now I have the following issues:
can't seem to get the latest copy of ff80 activated. i'm told the activation number is no good. visiting the foxfire website indicates i have zero activations remaining. please note that the uninstall/reinstall of ff80 occurred on the same computer.
i ran the upgrade routine on my 3.0+ preference (report) sets again to test. I now get a different series of errors in addition to the api library mismatch error. It starts with "SQL: Column 'REQID' is not found", which (predictably) results in a number of other errors, and eventually ends up with the API library revision mismatch error. then foxfire appears to start. as i've mentioned before, i'm really not able to test much, because the upgraded report sets do not function and throw other errors. i figure we'll tackle those once we work thru the others...

Re: api library revision mismatch
Stanley,
Please send an email to andrew at foxfirereporting.com and we'll set up an online meeting to get all this worked out.
I have also re-activated your license. The problem with the re-install is that if the original directory is cleared, then the license gets cleared out as well.
Thanks
Andrew
