 System Administrator Dialogs Going Blank

System Administrator Dialogs Going Blank

I recently got a new workstation in the office and since that time whenever I go into the Foxfire System Administrator dialogs they go blank on me as soon as I hover my mouse cursor over them. I can see specific items by moving my cursor back and forth over the window.

On an occasional basis this isn't a big deal, but it's difficult to work this way for larger tasks.

Has anyone encountered this before? I attempted to adjust my video settings but that didn't help with the problem.

Thank you,

Dale Millson

Re: System Administrator Dialogs Going Blank
This sounds like you're running an earlier version of Foxfire! (pre 6.05) under a version of VFP such as 8 or 9 that supports themes. The problem is caused by older code in the Foxfire! 6.0 Admin tools that does not display properly under Windows XP.

The Administrator tools in earlier versions have some problems with updates. It can be partially resolved by adding a line (and recompiling) your FFCONFIG file.

In the Startup Phase, add
=SYS(2700,0)

This problem has been resolved in Foxfire! 8+.

Andrew,

Thank you for the help. That worked like a charm.
