SBT Pro 5.0 - Report Writer - Foxfire?

We operate an SBT 5.0 installation with the foxfire report writer imbedded as the Report Writer in it. Recently, I am unable to open or index the module. I have tried putting in the FFFirst.dat file in the FR and FRDATA directory in order to have it reset itself, but no luck. Program keeps erroring out. The supplied documentation is worthless and the current VAR I have claims little backknowledge of the product. ANY help would be appreciated.

History of issue:

1. Could not find "index", prompted to delete cdx file and reindex. Did so for ffprefer only No luck.
2. Tried to re-index in Report Writer, error on index again.
3. Re-indexed all of SBT files. No luck.
4. Placed fffirst.dat in FR and FRDATA dir. More errors, but now code errors instead of index errors.

Have you contacted support@foxfirepro.com regaridng this issue?

What is the exact error you are getting? If you can tell us what the error is -we can likely move forward.

If you are getting an error in a Report Writer file, what CDX did it tell you to delete? The other files you may need to reindex are the files in the DBFS folder that have RQST,ITEM,JOIN in their names.

Larry,

I believe Rod Lewis/DDPCorp resolved this problem last month, right? It was a problem with the customization work and not generic Foxfire!
