Will Foxfire....
Hi. I am looking for a solution to editing Foxpro reports in some Epos software distributed by a 3rd party.
My questions are:
1. Does Foxfire save newly designed reports in Foxpro FRX format?
2. Can it edit existing FRX reports and save them?
3. If the answer to any of the above is yes, what version of Foxfire do I need for editing reports in an application written in Foxpro?
I need to urgently respond to a customer so any help would be much appreciated.
Regards
Mark B

Re: Will Foxfire....
Hi Mark. I responded to you via email but let me reiterate the items here.
I'm not famliiar with EPOS so I don't know if it uses DBF tables or a different database server.
1. Yes it does. Foxfire! uses meta-data to describe the fields in the application's database - this is something you would have to set up. Then, you can build custom reports that can then be run either automatically or from the Foxfire! request manager.
2. Not directly, no.
3. You should use Foxfire! 8.0. Download the demo version and try creating a report set using the Setup Wizard for your EPOS software. Let me know if you have any further questions.
